Music has been a part of my life since I was a kid. As a young adult, I went pro, playing in noise bands, working as a dance accompanist, creating scores for dance and theatre, doing sound for people. It was fun. It was intense. It was exhausting.

Music had once been my place of refuge, a wordless prayer. I'm finding my way back to that place.

Think of deep gray sea as a sort of augmented jazz piano trio, not always, but that's at the core.

Did you know there was another personality of this band? For all your alien hillbilly electronica needs, please say hi to drug pilots. Same personnel, just way more caffeinated and hardly any piano.

Thanks for visiting and listening. If you visit another day, you may find different music. And I've heard the website fairies enjoy changing the site design while we sleep. If you happen to see them, be friendly.
